We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a full-time basis, working days. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and supervision of nursing services for the unit under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
  • Delegate tasks to professional nurses and non-professional nursing staff while monitoring work performance.
  • Observe patients for signs of adverse change and notify attending physicians accordingly.
  • Assist with emergency situations and implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate with a diploma from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and proof of license renewal every other year.
  • Ability to work as a charge nurse and provide adequate coverage during emergencies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certification required yearly.
  • Attending in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Liberty Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including background checks and a drug-free workplace policy. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
