Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop AI software in Java, Python, and other languages, leveraging Oracle's cloud infrastructure.
  • Participate in the entire software lifecycle, from development to production operations, ensuring seamless integration with Oracle's cloud services.
  • Contribute to model development, testing, and human preference learning, driving innovation in AI/ML.
  • Apply engineering principles for defining robust architectures and designs, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.
  • Build cloud services on modern Infrastructure as Service (IaaS) building blocks at Oracle, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant software systems for GenAI models, pushing the boundaries of AI innovation.
  • Identify requirements, scope solutions, and drive the adoption of coding standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Contribute to publications, blogs, and open source ML performance submissions, showcasing Oracle's AI expertise.
  • Balance between product feature development and production operational concerns, ensuring business continuity and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in computer science or equivalent, with a strong foundation in software development and AI/ML.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in developing enterprise distributed systems, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and AI/ML.
  • Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems best practices, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar OO languages, with experience in containerization and orchestration.
  • Experience with cloud and ML technologies, with a focus on Oracle's cloud services.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Data science and machine learning knowledge, with experience in Generative AI Modeling and algorithms.
  • Production experience with cloud and ML technologies, with a focus on Oracle's cloud services.
