Toddler Care Specialist

Become a valued member of our team at the Weekday Program at FUMC as a Toddler Care Specialist In this role, you will provide exceptional care and education to toddlers aged 12 months to 3 years, working closely with our experienced teachers and staff to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, activities, and experiences that promote learning and exploration.
About the RoleAs a Toddler Care Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a safe, warm, and stimulating environment that encourages social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in toddlers. You will also assist with planning and implementing lessons, activities, and experiences that align with the High/Scope Curriculum and Get to know, Go and Grow in God's love.
Key Responsibilities- Create a daily schedule of alternating active and quiet times, and opportunities for individual and group experiences that cater to the unique needs and abilities of toddlers.
- Assist with planning, preparation, and implementation of lessons, activities, and experiences that meet the emotional, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs of toddlers.
- Maintain accurate records of toddlers' progress and development, including daily report information and accident/incident reports.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to establish trust and build relationships with families and colleagues, and have a genuine interest in working with young children. We offer a competitive salary of $32,000 - $42,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
