Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist/Hand Therapist to join our team at Orthopedic Centers of Colorado. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality hand therapy services to outpatients with hand therapy needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial exams, evaluating patient data to identify problems and determine a therapy diagnosis.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including manual therapy, direct therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
  • Collaborate with upper extremity surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide patient education and support to promote optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with the NBCOT for Occupational Therapy.
  • Current state licensure from Colorado DORA.
  • Current BLS certification within 60 days from hire.
  • Ability to use computer to enter patient documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CHT certification strongly preferred or working towards CHT.
  • Three or more years of hand therapy experience.
  • Experience with EMR a plus.
