Job Summary

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year

This full-time X-ray technologist position requires the use of specialized equipment and techniques for diagnostic evaluation. As an essential member of our healthcare team, you will perform diagnostic exams on patients in the specialized areas of mammography, computed tomography, and special procedures.

Requirements
  • A successful completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program
  • A State of Nevada License in Radiology
  • A valid American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Registered in Radiography; National Certification in specialty area such as Computed Tomography or Angiography
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Responsibilities
  • Performing diagnostic exams using specialized equipment and techniques
  • Utilizing computers and specialized application software for scanning and diagnostic evaluation
  • Applying aseptic techniques and positioning patients properly to maximize results
  • Communicating with a wide variety of people from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with all personnel contacted in the course of duties
