DOCTORS CHOICE PLACEMENT SERVICES, INC. is seeking a qualified medical oncologist who is board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Oncology. The selected candidate will be part of a dedicated team of surgical and radiation oncologists, contributing to the establishment of a cutting-edge cancer center adjacent to the hospital.
About the Cancer Institute:
The new facility is designed to offer comprehensive, multidisciplinary care that aligns with the standards of the nation’s leading healthcare institutions. This center will focus on:
- Accreditation as a comprehensive community cancer program by the Commission on Cancer
- Collaboration with four surgical oncologists specializing in breast, gynecologic, gastrointestinal, and thoracic cancers
- Partnership with two radiation oncologists
- Support from nurse navigators
- Opportunities for clinical research
- State-of-the-art infusion suites
- Expanded genetic testing capabilities
- A survivorship program
- Advanced radiation technology, including CyberKnife and TrueBeam systems
Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A focus on general hematology and oncology
- A collaborative approach to clinical practice
- A willingness to engage in hospital events to foster relationships and enhance the program
- Board certification or eligibility in hematology and oncology
- An interest in gastrointestinal oncology
- Preferred experience in the field
Compensation Package:
The incoming physician will be employed by DOCTORS CHOICE PLACEMENT SERVICES, INC. and will receive:
- An annual base salary of $400,000, with additional bonuses based on quality and performance metrics
- Comprehensive hospital benefits, including 401K, paid time off, CME allowance, and health and dental insurance
- A sign-on bonus
- A relocation package
- A production model based on Work RVUs
