This full-time role is structured around day shifts, specifically from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, incorporating a call requirement and flexible scheduling based on departmental demands.
As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing patient care through the nursing process
- Overseeing support staff and ancillary services
- Providing education to patients and their families regarding care plans
- Preparing the surgical environment and assessing patient requirements
In this position, you will serve as the primary advocate for patients during the surgical procedure, ensuring they receive optimal care until their transfer to the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
