Job Summary:

The United States Postal Service is seeking a skilled Mail Processing Specialist to join our team. As a Mail Processing Specialist, you will play a critical role in the processing and sorting of mail, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and process mail in a timely and accurate manner
  • Operate mail processing equipment, including automated sorting machines and manual sorting systems
  • Prepare mail for shipment to the next destination, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve processing goals and deadlines

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Physical ability to lift and move mailbags and packages
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
