Job Description

This position will work with a team of engineers to design energy-efficient buildings for various clients of CMTA. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a technical background who thrives on helping clients and is involved in all phases of the project.

Responsibilities
  • Design electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and lighting controls for various projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated responses.
  • Attend meetings with owners, clients, or architects as needed.
  • Review contractor submittals to determine conformance with contract documents.
  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques to perform assigned tasks.
  • Confer with other engineers and personnel to implement operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and other data to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements.
  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
  • Research, design, and evaluate mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements and apply knowledge of engineering principles.
  • Provide feedback to design engineers on customer problems and needs.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with Revit/AutoCAD and MEP design.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
