Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Norton Healthcare. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images using imaging equipment and computer technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize imaging equipment and computer technology to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, educate, and respond to questions or concerns
  • Ensure age-appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, patient education, and principles of physical/functional growth and development
  • Apply professional knowledge to prepare patients for procedures, educate, and respond to questions or concerns
  • Oversee and train students providing patient care, treatment, and services as part of their training
Requirements
  • RO (State Radiography License) and one of: ARRT-R, ARRT-N, or CNMT
  • Must obtain one of: ARRT-MR or AMRIT within 1 year of hire
  • ROT (Temp State Radiography License) and must obtain one of: ARRT-R, ARRT-N, or CNMT prior to ROT expiration and must obtain one of: ARRT-MR or ARMRIT within 1 year of hire
  • One year working with MRIs in a clinical setting
