Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team at Synovus Financial. As a Personal Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, helping them to achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and other banking services.
  • Sales and Relationship Building: Identify opportunities to sell bank products and services to clients, building strong relationships and promoting the bank's offerings.
  • Cash Handling: Count, check, and package coins and currency, balancing the cash drawer at the end of the day and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Adhere to bank policies and procedures, regulatory guidelines, and risk management protocols to protect against risk and ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Six months of customer service, sales, or related work experience or completion of one year of college/vocational school in lieu of work experience.
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, aptitude for consultative selling, strong listening and comprehension skills, and proficiency using Microsoft Office software products.
