Job Overview
Summary: Responsible for creating, planning, and overseeing the daily production of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily production and distribution of all pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Ensure adherence to recipes and standards, manage food costs, and prepare appropriate quantities based on production needs.
- Maintain proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
- Monitor and uphold the cleanliness and sanitation of the pastry kitchen and equipment, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and corporate standards.
- Supervise hourly kitchen/pastry staff, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, and performance reviews.
- Assist in planning and implementing seasonal menus.
- Order and manage pastry supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
