  • Perform Revenue Cycle functions efficiently and effectively
  • Collect and provide patient information for account resolution
  • Respond to account inquiries and provide timely updates
  • Maintain knowledge of insurance billing regulations and industry standards
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including patients and payors
  • Document activities accurately and maintain detailed records
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on account resolution and progress
  • Review and work on claim edits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Collect balances due from payors and resolve account denials
  • Ensure accurate cash reconciliation and maintain a high level of financial integrity

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field preferred
  • Previous hospital billing experience and knowledge of billing forms UB-04 and HCFA 1500 preferred
