Job Summary:

Morrison Living, a member of Compass Group USA, is seeking a skilled Dining Room Server to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room and take food and beverage orders in an efficient manner.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests.
  • Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills and demonstrate ability to get along well with others.
  • Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
  • Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
  • Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared.
  • Promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
  • Ensure that the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period and keep the area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
  • Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
