Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Hampton Inn Kansas City/Overland Park. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for setting up and taking down our breakfast buffet, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are always available. You will also be responsible for refilling coffee and beverages, cleaning up used plates and utensils, and providing attentive service to guests in the dining area.

Responsibilities
  • Clear tables during breakfast using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware in a timely manner
  • Provide exceptional service to guests by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a clean and welcoming dining area
  • Wipe down service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment according to health and safety regulations
  • Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage
  • Set up the breakfast buffet table and ensure fresh items are stocked and available throughout service
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
  • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
  • Experience working in food service is preferred
