Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Unit Services Representative to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our unit, you will play a vital role in facilitating positive guest relations with patients, family members, visitors, and physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming and explaining hospital and unit policies and procedures to patients and families
  • Addressing problems and concerns in a courteous and professional manner
  • Maintaining supply levels, tracking equipment, and ordering replacements as needed
  • Providing clerical support for the unit and Nurse Manager
  • Orienting patients to the unit and room, reviewing the welcome handbook, and providing instructions for non-clinical needs
  • Creating awareness of patient satisfaction on the unit by accessing and printing unit data, comments, and individual surveys
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work every other weekend and three out of six holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role
  • Proficiency in a second language
