The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plastic Surgeon to join our Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery as a Breast Microsurgeon (Open Rank). This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the advancement of plastic surgery.
Job Summary:We are looking for a residency-trained Plastic Surgeon with expertise in adult general plastic surgery, including reconstructive, microsurgery, breast surgery, and lymphedema. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in microsurgical techniques and a proven track record of clinical, educational, and research excellence.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the areas of reconstructive, microsurgery, breast surgery, and lymphedema
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical, educational, and research programs in plastic surgery
- Collaborate with other faculty members and healthcare professionals to advance the field of plastic surgery
- Participate in departmental and university service activities
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency program
- Eligibility for certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery
- Completed a Microsurgery Fellowship
- Demonstrated experience/training in microsurgical techniques
- Demonstrated proficiency in plastic & reconstructive clinical, education, and research efforts
- Ability to obtain license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with prescriptive privileges
- Clinical or basic science research experience
- Strong interest in lymphedema surgery
