We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at MRG Exams Careers. As a Medical Assessment Specialist, you will play a critical role in performing independent medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough medical assessments on Veterans, reviewing medical records electronically and performing in-person physical exams.
- Document exam findings electronically through a web portal, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
- Work independently, analyzing data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Manage time effectively, meeting requirements and deadlines for assessments.
- Utilize computer systems proficiently to complete tasks and maintain records.
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
- Daily rate of $500+
- Training and continued support provided
- Health Insurance options available
- Computer supplied
- Typical day: 3 to 5 patients a day
- Opportunity to serve the veteran community
- Set schedule during normal business hours, with no on-call requirements
- Work in a clinical setting
