About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Ascension Michigan. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
  • Assess patient needs and develop a plan of care based on diagnosis.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans and equipment.
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and families about respiratory health and provide information about community resources.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Licensed Respiratory Therapist credential from the Michigan Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
