USPI Capital City Surgery Center of Florida, a leading provider of ambulatory surgical services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our operating room and implementing process initiatives to improve efficiency and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical department performance and patient satisfaction
- Assume responsibility for budgeting and resource allocation
- Plan and oversee all patient care and administrative operations
- Recruit and manage a team of qualified nursing staff
- Assign cases and create schedules for nursing staff
- Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback
- Provide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development
- Evaluate performance and discipline employees when necessary
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a BSN or higher degree
- Active Florida RN license
- Operating Room experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- At least 5 years of operating room experience
- At least 2 years of clinical supervisory experience in the outpatient surgery area
- Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities
