Scope of WorkThe Registered Nurse (RN) in this role will utilize the nursing process to provide professional nursing care to patients. This will involve assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and discharging patients in accordance with Corewell Health policies and procedures. The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care and will utilize patient and family input to develop individualized plans of care.

- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required within 5 years.
- Graduates from non-accredited schools of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
- A Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license is required upon hire.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AHA American Heart Association certification is required within 1 year.
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-EFM) - NCC National Certification Corporation Birthplace certification is required within 2 years.
- AHA Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Labor and Delivery certification is preferred within 1 year.
