Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Services Nurse to join our team at St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ. As a key member of our perioperative department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in the operating room setting.
Responsibilities
- You will work closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless execution of surgical procedures.
- Direct and guide OR technicians and other personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide a continuum of care and contribute to efficient patient flow and unit maintenance.
Qualifications
- A valid state RN license and current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire, as well as ACLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) certifications within 30 days.
- At least one year of previous Perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
- Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) is preferred, but not required.
Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include competitive pay, comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
