Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Service Specialist to join our team at Ag-Pro Fuel in Thomasville, GA. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lube, oil, and filter changes, as well as tire work.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to develop skills and knowledge in automotive repairs and products.
  • Maintain current knowledge of automotive repairs and products, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on vehicles as needed.
  • Maintain the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Complete reports and forms required for work assignments.
  • Account for time and material used in performing assigned duties.
Requirements
  • Basic Service Technician certification or 2+ years of experience performing service repairs.
  • Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual Procedures.
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of automotive machinery.
  • Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly.
