Cyborgwave is seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team. As a Data Insights Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in interpreting data and providing actionable insights to support business decisions.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and be proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. You will work closely with various departments to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and compile reports that drive decision-making processes.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and preprocess data from various sources for analysis.
  • Analyze datasets to identify patterns and trends that support decision-making.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data insights.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define data requirements.
  • Perform statistical analyses to validate data trends and forecasts.
  • Generate comprehensive reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Utilize SQL to extract and manipulate data from databases.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and methodologies.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to staff on data usage and reporting tools.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to explore specific business questions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data analytics.
  • Assist in developing data collection systems for better analytics.
  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders to present findings and insights.
  • Adhere to organizational policies regarding data security and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in data analysis or a related role.
  • Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong experience with SQL and database management.
  • Knowledge of statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, or Python).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear manner.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts is a plus.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
