Floor Technician Role Overview:

The Floor Technician is accountable for executing daily cleaning operations to uphold a secure and pleasant environment within the facility, under the supervision of the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out designated floor maintenance tasks and responsibilities in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the front entrance area by removing debris and ensuring tidiness.
  • Perform dust mopping, wet mopping, and buffing of specified flooring surfaces.
  • Thoroughly clean walls, doors, and baseboards.
  • Follow safety and infection control procedures while utilizing cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Ensure workspaces are kept tidy and promptly report any maintenance concerns.
  • Immediately inform the supervisor of any accidents or incidents.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of resident information.
  • Honor resident rights and report any found items to the supervisor.
  • Engage in departmental meetings, training sessions, and orientations as required.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.
