The Bartender is tasked with the preparation and serving of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons while ensuring the bar area is well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Craft beverages following established recipes and accurately measure ingredients.
  2. Take food orders and utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing orders and payments.
  3. Manage bar inventory and maintain cleanliness of the work area, including washing glassware as necessary.
  4. Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging guests in friendly conversation and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  5. Comply with local and state regulations, verifying the legal drinking age of customers and monitoring alcohol consumption.
  6. Encourage additional sales through effective upselling techniques.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or GED and ideally have at least one year of experience in a full-service bar environment.

Certifications:

Training in ServSafe and TIPs certification will be provided by the company, which is essential for fulfilling job responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs and maintain high standards of guest service.
