Position Overview

  • Engage in a comprehensive hospitalist practice at University of Maryland (UM) Upper Chesapeake Health facilities located in Bel Air and Aberdeen.
  • Be part of the esteemed University of Maryland Medical System.
  • Work within a university hospital that offers exceptional specialty support.
  • Closed ICU setting; our team is not required to perform procedures or manage codes.
  • Staffing Structure: 23 healthcare providers, comprising 12 physicians and 11 advanced practice providers (APPs).
  • Utilize EPIC as the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Facility includes 257 beds.
  • Trauma Level - Level II.
  • Must be board certified or eligible in internal or family medicine.
  • Key responsibilities encompass conducting rounds, managing admissions and discharges, participating in daily multidisciplinary rounds, and engaging in rapid response and code team activities. Swing shift rotation will cover admissions and new consults during daytime hours.
