NP Now is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to provide care in an outpatient environment.
This position is with a non-profit healthcare organization situated along the scenic Alleghany River.
About the Organization:- Established community hospital with a rich history, serving the local population since 1900.
- Comprises multiple locations within the surrounding area.
- Employs a dedicated team of over 600 staff members, including a diverse group of physicians.
- Location: Outpatient clinic setting.
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
- On-call duty: One week every two months.
- Expected patient load: 18-25 patients per day.
- Support from Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.
- Focus on enhancing the health of individuals through timely and evidence-based care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Practice cost-effective medicine by minimizing unnecessary tests and referrals.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient interactions in the electronic health record.
