Role Overview: As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding properties and individuals by:
- Conducting regular patrols of the premises.
- Monitoring surveillance systems to ensure safety.
- Inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points to permit entry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documenting any irregularities and informing individuals of policies and procedures.
- Completing detailed reports by recording observations, incidents, and surveillance activities.
- Interviewing witnesses and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Carrying out tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of work history in the U.S. may be necessary.
- Possession of a valid NYS Security Guard License.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Physical capability to perform job-related tasks.
- Military or protective security experience is advantageous.
Compensation: Competitive pay rate of $16.00 per hour.
