Position Overview:
eTeam Inc is currently seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Medical Surgical for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Shift Details:
- 12-hour shifts
- Day shifts available: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Eligibility:
Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel contract.

Unit Details:
- Position: CDU (Clinical Decision "Observation" Unit) RN
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 (Day), 1:6 (Night)
- Average Daily Census: 40

Weekend Coverage:
- Coverage required on weekends

Clinical Focus:
This unit handles a variety of cases including:
- Observation
- General medical
- Post-operative care for PCI and general surgeries
- Short-stay inpatient and extended outpatient care
- Management of GI bleed, SBO, ESRD, CHF, COPD, and stable CIWA patients.

Patient Care Considerations:
- Limited isolation patients
- No chemotherapy
- No peritoneal dialysis
- No acute bi-pap
- No hemodynamically unstable pre-operative patients
- No post-operative patients requiring stepdown care.

Compensation Package:
Travelers will float between similar units based on their skill set.
