We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant to join our Cardiothoracic Surgery team at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA.
Responsibilities- Function as the first assistant in cardiac surgery, thoracic surgeries, and cardiac assist device implantation
- Obtain patient history, perform physical examinations, order and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Formulate a diagnostic impression, develop and implement a treatment plan, monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions
- Counsel and educate patients to meet their needs
- Current surgical CV PA's with 2-plus years of surgical experience in cardiothoracic surgery
- Excellent working relationship between physicians and the midlevel practitioners
