Exxpress Tire is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to transport goods safely and timely to our customers throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of outbound and inbound merchandise, collecting and verifying the correct paperwork and monies from customers, and working collaboratively with the dispatcher.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading merchandise
Performing basic truck safety checklists
Meeting delivery deadlines
Obtaining the proper signatures upon transfer of goods when needed
Assisting customers in the unloading and verification of their order's accuracy
Collecting and verifying the proper payment for delivered goods
Communicating with dispatch regularly throughout the day
Maintaining a clean driving record
Maintaining a valid PA Driver's License
Performing miscellaneous warehouse duties as assigned
Driving safely and considerately
Pulling product to fill orders
Notifying your supervisor immediately if your license has been suspended, expired, or of any new driving violations
Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Clean valid PA State Driver's License
3 years of licensed driving experience
Good customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a professional appearance
Forklift and Picker experience is not required but is considered a plus
