Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Unit Manager to join our team at Stone Rehabilitation and Senior Living. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing kind and compassionate care to our residents, administering basic resident care or treatments, and observing residents to chart and report any changes in their conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide kind and compassionate care to residents, including administering basic resident care or treatments.
  • Observe residents to chart and report any changes in their conditions, such as response to medication or treatment.
  • Ensure that all residents receive high-quality care and services, in accordance with our facility's policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided to residents.
Requirements
  • Current Massachusetts RN Licensure.
  • Experience in Geriatrics or long-term care is preferred, but not required.
  • Maintains valid CPR certification.
  • Maintains educational competency as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to push, pull objects, and lift/carry up to 20 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis and up to 50 pounds or more with assistance on occasion.
  • Ability to interact effectively with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, the general public, and other staff members.
