Job Summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Product Engineer to support our Low Voltage Assemblies at our Arden, NC facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop complex drawings and bills-of-material based on established product designs.
  • Consult with plant and field sales engineers to interpret and define new equipment applications.
  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products.
  • Advise C.O.D., Manufacturing, and Purchasing on interpreting information for accurate production.
  • Consult with the Quality Department to resolve issues after equipment shipment.
  • Direct purchaser visits to approve or release equipment.
  • Conduct special development/application projects of a complex nature.
  • Inform on cost and cycle time improvement activities.
  • Plan travel to support job responsibilities.
  • Conduct technical training seminars and provide technical guidance to department personnel.
  • Analyze needs and recommend revisions to Department Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution completed by December 31, 2024.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit offered; candidates within a 50-mile radius of Arden, NC will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics from an accredited institution.
  • One year of manufacturing experience, including internships and co-op assignments.
  • Knowledge of power distribution and control systems.
Skills
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of design standards.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, AutoCAD, and databases.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
