Job Summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in the Inpatient Unit. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients recovering from stroke, injury, or other disabling conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the physical therapy department, including physical therapy assistants and aides.
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and recommend changes to physicians as needed.
  • Perform assessments on patients and reassessments as per policy, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric patients, and the general adult population.
  • Assess patient pain interfering with optimal level of function or participation in rehabilitation and make appropriate physician contact for intervention.
