Pipefitter - Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at Environmental Air Systems, LLC. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining industrial piping systems, reading blueprints and submittals, and fabricating pipe supports and spooling copper lines.
Key Responsibilities- Install and repair industrial piping systems, including chill water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and submittals to ensure accurate installation
- Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines to meet project requirements
- Work independently and as part of a team to solve problems and complete tasks
- Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping
- Instruct and supervise plumbing helpers as needed
- Practice and maintain all safety procedures and protocols
- Hold a valid license to operate equipment necessary for the role
- 5 years of experience as a pipefitter, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Ownership of pipefitter hand tools and equipment
- Knowledge of pipefitter equipment, power tools, and fabrication methods
- Knowledge of different types of pipe, valves, fittings, and their functions
- General knowledge of code requirements and limitations
- Knowledge of occupational hazards, including ladders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the shift
- Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold, and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
