We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our industrial maintenance team, you will be responsible for supporting the upkeep and repair of our material handling systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative and Predictive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of our material handling systems.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair issues with mechanical power transmission, electrical, PLC/controls, and welding/fabrication systems.

Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Demonstrated basic mechanical aptitude through background or hobbies in agriculture, automotive, or other technical areas.
  • Skills: Basic electrical and mechanical skills preferred, with the ability to solve basic mechanical or electrical problems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and manufacturers' manuals.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other web-based applications.
Work Environment
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and squat.
