Our team of highly talented, dedicated, and driven individuals is responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to produce tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, component parts, and products to required print specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform operations including turning, facing, threading, drilling, reaming, boring, tapping, milling, grinding, knurling, rolling, cutting, etc., on any material to exacting tolerances and required micro-finish.
  • Design, machine, troubleshoot, and assemble special tooling into production dies.
  • Make repairs or alterations to end and can dies, including the manufacture of replacement parts as needed.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to assemble, fit, align, and adjust parts to exact tolerances.
  • Check tooling inventories, setup tool packs, measure precision tolerances, and work with assembly set-ups.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of prior experience with thorough knowledge of machine shop and toolroom practices and techniques.
  • Prior experience working with ferrous, non-ferrous, and non-metallic materials, cutting oils, grinding compounds, and other process materials.
  • Proven competency in the use of micrometers, calipers, and related equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and parts specifications.
  • Proven experience running precision equipment and equipment re-build.
  • CNC Programming, OD/ID Grinding, and Jig Grinding.

Working Conditions:
  • Works in a plant environment but may be required to perform some job duties inside a typical office setting.
  • Exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic.
  • Exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
  • Noise level is frequently loud.
