CommonSpirit Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in your areas of expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Under the direction of the Radiologist and/or Radiology Manager, perform technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
- Supervise and train technologists, ancillary personnel, and students assigned within your department.
- Demonstrate the ability to understand the unique needs of patients across various age groups, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Activate, repair, and control work progress within designated areas of responsibility.
- Must be experienced in operating equipment and evaluating images obtained, including anatomy and pathology, to ensure correct diagnosis.
- One or more years of experience in the specific modality for which you are being considered.
- Successful completion of a fully accredited training program in the pertinent modality.
- Successful and valid registration/certification by a nationally recognized accrediting agency in the specific modality.
- Modality-specific advanced-level registry must be obtained within twelve months of hire date.
- Must be available to take call and arrive at the hospital with a 30-minute response time.
- CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support - AHA certification.
- Registry or certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Associate Degree preferred.
