Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Medical Technologist to work in our Interventional Radiology department. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with medical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
- Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
- Transports patients as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- One to three years of experience as a Medical Technologist
- Other certifications may be required for this position
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- PC skills
