Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled General Laborer to join our team at Rinker Materials. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and pour concrete to meet quality and production standards.
  • Operate machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors, to support production needs.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Assist with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds to support production efficiency.
  • Load and unload materials and supplies to support production needs.
  • Set up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Handle and move heavy construction materials to support production needs.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Adhere to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.
Requirements
  • Ability to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to work outdoors or in open air environments.
  • Preferred experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used. Ability to push or pull a cart with 80 pounds of force. Ability to climb stairs and ladders. Ability to step up 20 inches.
