Automotive Parts Delivery Driver Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Automotive Parts Delivery Driver to join our team at Carl Black Buick GMC of Roswell. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely operating a light-duty pickup truck/van to deliver automotive parts to customers within a 50-mile radius.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely Operate a Light Truck and/or Van: Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents.
  • Pull Parts from Warehouse to Fill Orders: Retrieve parts from our warehouse and load them into the vehicle for delivery.
  • Load and Unload Cargo: Safely load and unload parts from the vehicle to prevent damage or loss.
  • Properly Track and Document Activity Log: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or incidents that may arise.
  • Report Any Issues or Incidents to Dispatch: Communicate with our dispatch team to report any issues or incidents that may impact delivery schedules.
  • Inspect Truck Before and After Trip: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience in Truck Driving or Related Fields: A minimum of 1 year of experience driving a light truck or van is required.
  • Valid Driver License with Clean Driving Record: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
  • Commercial Driver's License Not Required: While a commercial driver's license is not required, a valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Ability to Handle Physical Workload: The ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, squat, and climb stairs is required.
  • Strong Work Ethic: A strong work ethic and ability to work independently is essential.
