Job Summary:

The GIS Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing GIS data, conducting spatial analysis, and producing maps for environmental projects. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for environmental management.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage GIS data, including spatial analysis and map production
  • Conduct environmental projects, including data collection and analysis
  • Develop and implement GIS solutions to support environmental management initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in GIS and environmental management
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in GIS, with a focus on environmental applications
  • Strong technical skills in GIS software, including ArcGIS
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field
  • GIS certification (e.g., GISP) is a plus
