Position Details:

SHIFT:
7 AM-5:30 PM / FULL-TIME / 40 hours

LOCATION:
EMORY SAINT JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL
Deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the interventional suite and operating room.

Effectively communicate patient needs and responses through appropriate verbal and written channels.

Ensure thorough and accurate documentation regarding all aspects of patient care.

Responsible for the proper functioning of imaging and specialty equipment while staying informed about medical device applications.

Implement measures to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.

Take charge of direct care for all procedures conducted in this area.

Prepare patients for procedures using proper sterile techniques and ensure they are adequately prepared.

Assist in educating patients and their families.

May participate in research and related activities.

Perform other relevant duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, hold ARRT registration, and possess one (1) year of clinical experience.

CPR certification is mandatory.
