We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society's Miller facility. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Assist with basic health care needs, including daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
- Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.
