Welding Instructor with a Twist

This Adjunct Associate Professor of Welding position offers a unique opportunity to join the San Joaquin Delta College team. As a part-time instructor, you will be responsible for teaching up to 10 units in the welding discipline(s). A bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience or an associate degree and six years of experience are required for this position.

1. Teach courses in welding in accordance with credit course outlines approved by the Board of Trustees.
2. Develop and maintain expertise in current teaching methods, discipline knowledge, and discipline-specific technologies.
3. Collaborate with students to achieve stated course objectives and track their progress.
4. Participate in the departmental process of curriculum review, modification, and assessment of student learning outcomes.
5. Support the Division Dean in providing programs, courses, and information relevant to the needs of students and various programs.
