Our innovative food portfolio includes a wide range of products, such as breads, artisan breads, buns, cookies, donuts, muffins, and pastries from well-known brands like La Brea Bakery, Otis Spunkmeyer, and Oakrun Farm Bakery.

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our General Accounting team. This role will involve liaising with various teams, including payroll, accounts receivable and payable, transactional finance, treasury, tax, and bakery finance. The successful candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge and a commitment to accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in completing the month-end closing process and ensure timely completion of deadlines
  • Prepare various month-end balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Prepare and upload weekly and monthly journal entries for Concur, Payroll, and Treasury
  • Assist in the year-end external financial audit
  • Ensure a strong internal control environment and enforce/establish the Company's controls and procedures related to centralized general accounting
  • Support and participate in special projects as assigned
  • Assist with activities related to system implementations and automation projects related to general accounting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience with knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Intermediate-Expert level skills in Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups, macros)
  • Strong system and analysis skills; SAP experience is preferred
  • Ability and willingness to adapt to changes in processes, as needed
  • Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, etc.)
  • Able to prioritize financial and operational activities
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Salary Range: $68,600 - $71,800

The final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, shift, education, skill, and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed in this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
