Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, equipment, and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, determine root causes, and propose effective solutions.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues before they cause critical failures or interruptions.
  • Record Keeping: Manage and keep accurate records of all maintenance activities performed, including maintenance schedules, repairs, replacements, and adjustments.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate and work with external contractors and vendors whenever their services are required.
  • Safety Protocols: Monitor and ensure compliance with safety protocols, standards, and regulations, proactively identifying and resolving potential hazards or risks that may arise.
  • Time Management: Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests, prioritize tasks, and address issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruptions to operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of proven working experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role within a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
  • Skills: Solid knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Familiarity with various maintenance tools, equipment, and systems (e.g., power tools, voltmeters, plumbing tools, etc.). Sound understanding of safety protocols, regulations, and best practices applicable to industrial maintenance work.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve issues effectively. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to effectively interact with colleagues, contractors, and other stakeholders.
