LanceSoft is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to fill a local contract position in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Applicants must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse and have experience equivalent to one year of registered nursing. Alternatively, they must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse and hold a bachelor's or graduate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university or a diploma in registered nursing from an accredited school of nursing.

Additionally, applicants must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Client or hold a privilege to practice in the Client under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). A valid motor vehicle operator license may be required.

Under general supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for registered nursing duties of average difficulty based on a wide range of circumstances and perform related work as required.

Key responsibilities will include providing nursing care and procedures according to physicians' orders and nursing protocol, administering medication according to the physician's orders and protocol, evaluating possible side effects and the overall effectiveness of medication, and performing BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and other emergency responses.
