Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting examinations and physical assessments to identify health concerns and provide appropriate care.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure students receive prescribed medical treatment.
  • Administer medication, educate students on proper use, and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform routine medical tasks, including vital sign collection and documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining equipment and supplies.
  • Follow infection control procedures and document all procedures and education provided to students.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • An active, unrestricted license to practice as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in the state where the center is located.
  • Sound nursing techniques and the ability to relate effectively to students.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as good organizational skills.
  • The ability to carry out instructions without constant supervision and maintain CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications

One or more years of nursing experience, with Job Corps experience being highly desirable.
